In May 2025, Equality Chamber of Commerce and Equality Chamber Foundation moved into our new home located in The LGBTQ+ Community Center, which opened in late April 2025.

About the Center

The DC LGBTQ+ Community Center educates, empowers, uplifts, celebrates, and connects the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer communities. We are dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming space where all members of our community can thrive. To fulfill our mission, we focus on four core areas: health and wellness, ensuring equitable access to care and support; arts and culture, celebrating LGBTQ+ creativity and identity; social and peer support, fostering connection and mutual empowerment; and advocacy and community building, working to advance equity, visibility, and justice for all. Getting There:

The Shaw-Howard Station, part of DC’s Metro’s U-Yellow and U-Green lines. Several Metrobus routes serve the area, including A6, A8, B2, H4, S2, V2, W4, X2, 32, 33, 52, 70, 80, and 92. The 3F and 3Y lines also serve the area.
